a journal editorial proclaims

"the largest school district in the state should start paying attention"

do journal editors think they've broken new ground? or is this just another of their endless, and pointless, "warnings" for the leadership of the aps?

"the largest school district in the state should start paying attention"

what if they don't? what if they won't?

what will the journal editors write then?

the leadership of the aps is not paying attention. there is no evidence that they intend ever, to pay attention.

that's what stonewalling means; it means that they are "not paying attention".

that's what covering up the investigation of gil lovato and the aps police administration means; it means that they are "not paying attention".

as does the fact that they won't disclose spending on the uptown complex;

as does the coverup of the relationship between the aps leadership and the modrall law firm.

as does the fact that they don't have a citizens advisory council;

and that they removed the public forum from the public record.

if they were paying attention, there would be a system under which they could be held accountable for even the most egregious misconduct and incompetence as public servants.

if they were paying attention, there would be an immediate, impartial and comprehensive accountability audit of the public interests in the leadership of the aps.

apparently they're not the only ones not paying attention

the journal editors aren't aren't paying attention to the number of free passes that the journal gives to the leadership of the aps on the issues of ethics and accountability.

how many more warnings will the journal give the leadership of the aps, before they will finally publish the truth?

how many more, "the earth is round", editorials must we read.
