US Senator Pete Domenici plays "dumb"

I was surprised that I actually got through on the phone
lines on the
Bob Clark show.

I thanked the senator for his contribution to Character Counts!

He is in fact a founding father.

Then I asked him if he was at all disappointed that the
leadership of the APS had renounced
the Pillars of Character Counts! as their own standard of conduct.

He claimed to be unaware.

There is more than enough evidence to prove that if he
really is unaware, it is by his deliberate choice.

The only other possibility would be that
Lisa Breeden
had made a deliberate effort to keep the information from
him.

I have talked to
Lisa Breeden personally. She knew.

It is noteworthy that
Lisa Breeden was a member of the
APS Character Counts! Leadership Council;

a still secret group of people who apparently organized
for the purpose of securing a sizable federal grant through
Senator Domenici's office, and nothing else.

It appears that retiring
US Senator Pete Domenici's
Character Counts! legacy will be severely stained.

That would be a real shame.

All he has to do to refute any of this, is to
do something
about the fact that the leadership of the APS has secretly
renounced any accountability at all, to the

APS Student Standard of Conduct;

the Pillars of Character Counts!

All he has to do

... is anything at all.

For the record, this post was read by the
Sergeant at Arms of the United States Senate at 10:32:31 this morning. Senator Pete Domenici is aware; or chooses not to be.
