Eduardo Soto sat in for Supt. Everitt at the board meeting.
During his comments on matters of information, Mr. Soto referred to the speakers at the public forum as those who had "approached the bench".
It is my hope that it was just an amusing slip of the tongue.

Was he Eduardo Soto the (former?) principal of Rio Grande High, or Eduardo Soto the immigration lawyer?
I really don't know; didn't know that I had a choice even.
