What if Monica Armenta Didn't Tell the Truth?

Could she be held accountable?

To whom would you report her?

The superintendent? Hardly; keeping the truth under wraps is just what she needs. She really can't explain away the corruption in the APS Police Department. She can't explain why no administrator has ever been held accountable.

Nor can she explain the exorbitant spending in renovation the Uptown Complex while students are sitting in classrooms without roofs.

Nor can she really justify many of the principal shifts.

The School Board? Hardly; they just passed a meaningless and unenforceable code of ethics as the standard for their conduct and competence as public servants.

The Board is just as interested in hiding the truth as is the superintendent.

If an administrator breaks the rules; there is no one to report them to; no system under which complaints of misconduct will see a principled resolution.

If you go outside their system; if you complain to the state or the feds, if you take them to court, public resources are used to litigate their exception from accountability and duly earned consequences.

If it turns out that Monica Armenta is hiding the truth about the many conflicts of interest in the underwriting of the administrative soirée at the Inn of the Mountain Gods;

...there is nothing you can do about it.
