The Little Documentary That Wasn't

Albuquerque Public Schools Character Counts!, APS Join-a-School, and the New Mexico Partnership in Character Education will debut “Character is the Heart of New Mexico” at 6:30 p.m., Monday, Aug. 6 at the New Mexico Museum of Natural History.

The documentary, directed and produced by Chris Schueler, is about CHARACTER COUNTS! and its impact on schools and communities across New Mexico.

Documentary;

A work, such as a film or television program, presenting political, social, or historical subject matter in a factual and informative manner ...
The documentary will not include the fact that virtually every adult that is promoting Character Counts as the standard of conduct for children and students; has rejected that same standard of conduct as their own.

APS Character Counts Leadership Council President and School Board President Paula Maes has methodically and deliberately stripped adult accountability to that standard, from every APS policy. The abandonment of Character Counts was necessary in order to evade honest accountability for a number of APS leader's ethical and felony criminal misconduct.

APS Character Counts has resisted every effort to inform the Character Counts Leadership Council of the blatant hypocrisy of their president Paula Maes and the leadership of the APS.

The Pillars of Character Counts are still the standard to which students are held accountable.

Anyone who has studied Character Counts at all;
knows that role modeling and leadership by adults is fundamental.

Mr. Schueler was informed that his "documentary" is misleading and untruthful. He said it was already 'in the can" and could not, would not, be repaired.

A follow up email to him, requesting information regarding who wrote and paid for the "infomercial" is yet to enjoy a reply.
