Who does Phil Sisneros work for?

In theory, he works for the people of New Mexico.
He is a public servant.

... in theory.

In fact, his loyaly lies with the good ol' boys.

Witness, this morning's Journal report, link; about someone suing the Attorney General's Office over something.

NMAG Public Information Officer Phil Sisneros had this to say;

"Although we consider this a personnel matter,
(meaning he shouldn't be saying anything at all, but will anyway)
we expect it will be resolved in our favor in the court.
(emphasis added)
You can either chalk this up to a slip of the tongue,
or you can accept that he is one of them, not one of us.

His first loyalty is to the NMAGO' Office, and not to the
people of New Mexico and telling the truth.

In theory, we are paying PIOs to tell the truth about the spending of our power and our resources; the whole truth, and nothing but the ethically redacted truth.

... in theory.

In fact, we are paying them to spin the truth to their boss's advantage.

We are paying them millions of dollars to
keep us from learning the truth.

That's wrong, ... right?
