Founding Fathers Nowhere to be Found

It is fair to say that the fight over Character Counts! as the
agreed upon standard of conduct for students and their
role models, is over. Win or loose, there are no great
battles to fight between now and election day.

It is now too late for either of the
preeminent Founding Fathers of
Character Counts!
Senator Pete Domenici (r.) or
Michael Josephson, to defend
their Foundling Character Counts!,
from demise at the hands of
Marty Esquivel and Winston Brooks.

Apparently, they don't care.

Ironically, it was Michael Josephson who first introduced me to this quotation of Martin Luther King;

“In the end it will not be so much the words of
my enemies that have hurt me the most,
but rather the silence of those who have called
themselves my friends.”
