A century or two ago,
Jerry Ortiz y Pino and
Brian Colon would settle
their dispute with pistols
at twenty paces, wikilink.
According to Matthew Reichbach,
NMI, link, Ortiz y Pino has called
Colon a dirty no good push/pull pollster,
and Colon says Ortiz y Pino is making
a false allegation.
Because dueling is a fourth degree felony in New Mexico, link,
I propose, rather than a duel at high noon; why don't both guys just tell us the truth, the whole truth and, nothing but the truth, as they know it, and we will decide whether Ortiz y Pino's character and/or competence are damaged by his allegation, or if Colon's character and/or competence are damaged by his denial.
I posted a comment on Matt's post, and asked him to publish the script of the polling questions.

Yeah, why don't the candidates release internal runnings of their campaign to satisfy Janice Arnold-Jones fanboys?
My guess would be to hide the fact that they really were conducting a push-pull poll, and they would rather not be held accountable for it.
