Skandera's "no comment" unacceptable

NM PED Secretary Designate Hanna Skandera ordered a raid on an elementary school and when asked for details offered, no comment.

Begging a a rather fundamental question; where is the line between the truth that interest holders have a right to share and the truth Skandera has a legal obligation to hide?

It's not about what makes her or anyone else look good; it's about what the law requires her to hide.

To the extent that the question cannot be completely answered in policy; it must be provided for in process; neither of which exists with respect to getting Skandara to be more forthcoming about the raid, or in defending her refusal.

Who writes the terms of public service, the people or their servants?

It's not that she drew a line, or even that she drew it in the wrong place. It's her insistence that the line is hers to draw in the first place.
