APS School Board testing media mettle

The APS Board of Education is going to vote tonight to empower themselves to make the media and "any person desiring" stand in the corner to record any public meeting of the board.

The media, the Journal, KRQE, KOAT, and KOB TV will be there to record the meeting, or not.  When APS Executive Director of Communications Monica Armenta tells them to go stand in the corner, they will, or they will not.  KOAT has already bowed to her once.

If they don't bow, they forfeit what they really want,
on camera interviews after the meeting.

No one ever said it was easy to be the press, just that
it is a Constitutionally protected human right to be.

Defendant Marty Esquivel and his gang of four,
can make no law abridging that right.

... right?
