The Denish defense; I wasn't even there.

According to Lt Gov Diane Denish's TV spot,
she worked very hard at getting "out of Santa Fe" a lot.
On its face, that may seem like a bad thing.

But in fact, it is a good thing; it can be cited as one of the
reasons she didn't step up, as Lt Governor,
to the culture of corruption and incompetence swirling around
her in state government; the "rot in the roundhouse".

I wonder how many times you can say "I wasn't even there"
on TV for $2.8M?

Hitler could have used the same defense for the vicious attacks on France, I suppose.

And Bill Clinton is coming to Denish's rescue, and Palin to Martinez.
Why are these out of state idiots coming here, giving their uninformed opinions, simply towing the party line?
Get out of New Mexico Palin and Clinton! We don't want you, we don't need you, and you don't know #$%% about us!
