The APS BOE Policy and Instruction Committee
is meeting as I write.
They will discuss and then take action on a resolution that
would address the issue of hidden contributors for election
campaigns of those running for a seat on the board. link
They apparently are not willing to actually require full
disclosure, deciding instead to
"... encourage candidates for the office of school boardJust like Häagen-Dazs encourages us
member to disclose the names and addresses of all
campaign contributors ..."
to split a pint of their ice cream, four ways.
... like that is ever going to happen.
