NM FOG VP sends odd message

NM Foundation for Open Government Vice President Marty Esquivel has begrudgingly produced email records in response to discovery requests.  I can see why.

In the middle of an email in which the School Board President and Defendant Esquivel was indicating his desire to share and collect information by "direct contact" (as opposed to creating a public record - my words not his), he urges Director of Board Services Brenda Yager to;

Remind all to be careful in email communications because the knucklehead will turn around and make IPRA requests.
That seems like an odd message for FOG leadership to be sending; urging politicians and public servants to conduct public business but to be careful about creating public records of their public service.

Does their record warrant the hiding?

It would appear it does.
