Trip Jennings weighed in, link, on the people's search for the truth about the spending of their power and resources.  The search is not going well.

There is a line of people standing between the people and the ethically redacted truth.  We pay their salaries and give them control over our power to use in our interests.  They should be facing in, not out.  They should be our champions, not our adversaries.  At the very least they are our mercenaries.

Instead, they stand in a line facing out, against us,
smiling, waving, and ducking our questions.

If it is ever to be government of, by and for the people,
the people will need to know the the truth,
the whole truth, and nothing but
the ethically redacted truth.
