Esquivel's lawyer cuts taxpayers some slack

There are at least two lawsuits in federal court naming School Board Member Marty Esquivel and others; one is mine, the other is Mark Bralley's.

Mine has been mentioned in the Journal, Bralley's still has not.

There was a hearing yesterday.  Esquivel's side sent two lawyers to take on Bralley who is litigating pro se.  In my experience, it is their practice to send two lawyers; it is more intimidating to pro se litigants and well, cost is no object, so why not milk the cow if you can?

I asked the lead attorney
Luis Robles as he walked by,
if taxpayers were paying
both of them for the hearing.

He assured me that they were not.
