Why isn't the APS school board meeting posted?

The Albuquerque Public Schools Board of Education held a regular meeting last Wednesday evening.  It was "live streamed"; transmitting live video and audio coverage of the meeting over the internet.

I say it was live streamed; that is their expressed commitment to the community members they serve.  Often it is not; without apology or excuse.  It is also their expressed commitment that the record will be posted on their award winning website by the following Friday.  It is not up as I write. And often is not.

Union Pres Ellen Bernstein
I wanted to write about how the school board disrespected the teachers union president and then every union member and teacher who showed up to speak up.  The promised opportunity to speak at a public forum for two minutes was cut to one minute for most and denied completely to some.

I could bolster my argument with a link to the record.  Reader viewers could see for themselves.

Except that that record is not unavailable to the people who own it.

Two techs, $100K in toys, and they can't post as streamed?

There is no reason why the record cannot be posted on APS' award winning website simultaneous with its live streaming.
I write that with no particular expertise or even competence in the digital electronic wizardry that it would take to actually do that.  I will bow as always to controverting fact.
Is there any good and ethical reason then, that APS school board meetings cannot be posted as they are streamed?

... except that the leadership of the APS wants to control the spin on anything that might happen during a school board meeting.

APS spin doctor Monica Armenta
They have in the past, actually edited the public forum (or parts of it) out of the broadcast version of school board meetings in order to spare themselves personal embarrassment.

There are two ways the leadership of the APS can tell the truth;
  1. they can tell as much as the law allows, or
  2. they can tell only as much as the law requires, and only then after protracted and expensive litigation in an effort to create an exception for themselves, from the law.
They have chosen, continue to choose, and always will choose, the latter.

Obviously.

They enjoy the aide and abet of the Journal, KRQE, KOAT and KOB TV.
