APS Executive Director of Communications Monica Armenta will earn her $10K a month salary this week.
She will be expected to keep KOB, KRQE, KRQE and the Journal from reporting on the board of education this week as they try to
• lower student standards of conduct,
• keep a role modeling clause out of their and the next superintendent’s standards of conduct,
• do it all without being held accountable.
If Armenta can convince the media to continue to ignore the ethics, standards, accountability and role modeling crisis in the leadership of the APS, she will earn the $500 a day they pay her to keep stake and interest holders in the dark.
The student standard of conduct that the “leadership” of the APS intends to remove;
“… precludes all acts, including half-truths, out-of-context statements, and even silence, that are intended to create beliefs or leave impressions that are untrue or misleading.”
The APS board of education seeks to escape responsibility as role models of honest to God accountability to meaningful standards of conduct and competence within their public service.
That they can, right under your nose, use three teacher salaries to create beliefs and leave impressions that are untrue or misleading is proof on its face of an ethics, standards, accountability and role modeling scandal in the leadership.
That it is not already the subject of investigations and reports by and from local news other than KOB TV, is proof on its face that Monica Armenta is getting her job done.
