Vice President Joe Biden says New Mexico is among the first in the nation, to spend stimulus money.

Since, according to the State Auditor Hector Balderas,
at least part of those funds are going to be lost or stolen
according to our culture of corruption, it would also make us
among the first in the nation, to start lining the pockets of
corruption and incompetence.

    Here we are, Planet of the Apes all over again. The government gives us a mantra (like "spend your money citizens! Keep buying!") and we take it in.
    Then the government says "spend your stimulus money!", and they congratulate us on that.
    The stimulus and bailout funds are all charity hand outs with a "you all f#$%$d up, but maybe this will help" connotation.
    And New Mexico came running, slobbering when Biden rang the food bell and Biden tells New Mexico "What a good pooch you are! Eat up!"
