The terms of public service are the prerogative of the public. Fundamental among those terms; public servants are accountable to the public, and to meaningful standards of conduct and competence, at least for the eight measly hours a day that we have to "trust" them with the control over our power and our resources.
We have seen a lot of amazing changes over the laast few months, in my opinion, due in major part to your efforts in this blog and Eye on APs, and your attendance at Board meetings.
ReplyDeleteThis corruption and exploitation is nothing new in NEw MExico, and certainly not new in Albuquerque.
I think it's amazing that after some 200 years of history of education in this area, we are finally getting somewhere.
I see monentum of change, and I think that citizen's conciousness on APS and their wicked ways is reaching a saturation point where Joe Public cannot stand idly by, and "heads will indeed roll".
