All of the rest of them, will be among the last.
The terms of public service are the prerogative of the public. Fundamental among those terms; public servants are accountable to the public, and to meaningful standards of conduct and competence, at least for the eight measly hours a day that we have to "trust" them with the control over our power and our resources.
Perhaps we should seek media coverage on the state or national level?
ReplyDeleteThe stories of corruption and cover-up are very Harper valley PTA! I think we could get people to even be happy their kids don;t live here.
Either that, or we prove to actually be more like a 3rd-world country, and not "one of the 50".
I would like to see a small claims suit taken to Judge Judy. Can you imagine the circus that would follow?
